Tokens and pricing

A token is what Ace spends when it does work for you. Every request to Ace, every transcript and every sound effect uses tokens, and a heavier job uses more of them than a light one. Your plan gives you a set number of tokens every month.

Transcribing is charged by the minute of speech, so a one-hour video takes much more work than a two-minute one. Pricing it by length keeps short videos cheap.

Yes. You get 5 free tokens without signing up, once per connection, so you can try Ace on your own video. After that, sign up and pick a plan to keep going. Free tokens are also limited each hour and each day across all visitors, so at a very busy time they can run out early; paid plans are never affected.

• Starter: 200 tokens a month for $9 a month, or $84 a year.
• Pro: 600 tokens a month for $24 a month, or $228 a year.
• Studio: 2,000 tokens a month for $69 a month, or $660 a year.

Paying yearly saves 20%. On a yearly plan your tokens still arrive every month.

Yes, for 1 more month. Tokens you don't use this month are still yours next month, and then they expire. Tokens that expire first are used first, so you never lose tokens you could have used.

If a request fails, or Ace has to ask you something before it can do the work, the tokens are given back.

Yes, any time. Open your tokens from the top of the editor to see the plans. Moving to a bigger plan takes effect now and you pay only the difference for the rest of the period, with the extra tokens added straight away. Moving to a smaller plan starts when your current period ends, so you keep everything you paid for.

Open your tokens from the top of the editor and choose "Billing, receipts and cancel". You can cancel, update your card and download receipts there. If you cancel, your plan keeps working until the period you paid for ends.
