How Add Captions to Video works

Add your video: drop a file or paste a link.
Tell Ace what you want in plain words.
Preview the result, ask for changes if you like, then export.

Ace listens to what is said in your video and adds captions that follow the words, with the word being spoken highlighted. Captions keep viewers watching with the sound off, which is how most social video is watched.

Tips

Ask for a position, such as the bottom or the middle of the screen.
Ask for a color, size or font to match your brand.
Captions are timed word by word, so they stay in sync after you trim.
Ask for changes in plain words, like "make them yellow".
